Simply Arcadia
Arcadia is a new multi-disciplinary programme and national competition organized by Robo Academy which infused ideas and applications in Robotics, Mechanical & Electronics Engineering, Creative Thinking & Innovation, D&T, Design & Game Development as well as Entrepreneurship to bring powerful ideas of learning into physical booths of arcade game.
Students will undergo a series of interesting and fun filled activities in our highly creative and structured learning programme where Constructionism is the key in this powerful learning environment where students can excel in creating and constructing ideas. They will be able to express their complex and innovative ideas and progressively build their self-confidence and skills.
Students will learn and apply mathematics, science and engineering concepts through the process of conceptualizing to design and finally making their own arcade game booths which can demonstrate scientific concepts like energy conversions, simple machines and applied physics. From there onwards, they would need to engage the entrepreneur inside them to think of ways to strategize, market, price and deliver their game to the masses. This new way of learning will incredibly increase the effectiveness and efficiency of knowledge acquisition and retention.
